Imogen Aukland is an inter-media artist living and working in Brooklyn, New York. She is a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College, where she studied fine art and ethnomusicology, and of Pratt Institute's MFA program. Working across collage, photography, and low-relief sculpture, her works explore boundaries between handmade and digital processes, and between abstraction and perception. Aukland has had work shown at Site:Brooklyn, The Living Gallery, Studio in Factory, and Limner Gallery, each in New York. Aukland is a recipient of The Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts’ Robert Blackburn Printmaking Award, a former resident of the Vermont Studio Center, and has had work featured in Hyperallergic, Modern Renaissance, Suboart Magazine, and eFlux.
